I finally did it! I was afraid of the fondant dough but I took my chances and made a tiny heart shaped cake for Susana, a good friend of mine. It was her birthday and sinced it was in the middle of the week only a few of us showed up along with the kids we had fun laughing and eating cake...

Finalmente lo hice! le tenia miedo a la masa de fondant pero me arriesgue e hice una mini torta en forma de corazón para Susana, una gran amiga. Era su cumpleanios y como fue en medio de la semana, solo algunas de nosotras nos acercamos a su casa y junto con los ninos nos divertimos riéndonos y comiendo torta

What Do We Believe In?

Maybe you don't know it yet but I work in Global Lingua as a part-time teacher. What I love about this institute is that they are constantly trying to innovate and make students feel like they are part of it, like they belong... this is a video made by the employees and the students and I just think it's lovely and wanted to share it with you...

A lo mejor no lo saben aun pero trabajo en Global Lingua como profesor a medio tiempo. Lo que me encanta de este instituto es que están constantemente tratando de innovar y hacer sentir a los estudiantes que son parte de el, con sentido de pertenencia....este es un video hecho por los empleados y los alumnos a mi me pareció adorable y quise compartirlo con ustedes...

free crappy portraits is a site I found randomly and I inmediately became a fan of their naive art. As the name states it's free and you can get your own...this is my portrait based on the pics taken by juan de los mares on "the Bow top" post.Crappily awesome!

I couldn't come up with an original title for this post but here it goes. It was my first Victory Rolls attempt and even though it took me forever to get them done, I think they weren't that bad after all. This is what I wore to go to my cousins' birthday party.

No se me ocurrio nada mejor para ponerle el titulo a este post, asi que aqui va. Este fue mi primer intento de Victory Rolls y aun cuando me tomo la vida hacermelos, creo que no quedaron tan mal despues de todo. Esto fue lo que use para ir la fiesta de cumpleanios de mis primitas.

MAD MEN is just amazing but I have to admit that I was drawn to it because of the impecable looks. Betty Draper is like a reincarnation of Grace Kelly but skinnier. I started thinking about buying vintage underwear and bullet bras because of her but buying underwear in a thrift shop is not ideal, at least not for me. I bought this piece in Dublin and I hadn't posted a photo because it's hard post photos of oneself when wearing virtually nothing.

MAD MEN es simplemente increíble, pero tengo que admitir que me sentí atraída debido a la apariencia impecable. Betty Draper es como una reencarnación de Grace Kelly, pero más delgada. Empecé a pensar en comprar ropa interior vintage y sujetadores de bala por ella, pero la compra de ropa interior en una tienda de segunda mano no es lo ideal, al menos no para mí. Me compré esta pieza en Dublín y no había publicado una foto porque es difícil de subir una foto de sí mismo cuando usted está usando prácticamente nada.

PINK AND POOL - Fio's bday

It was Fiorella's birthday and we all got together to celebrate. Pink was everywhere and even though it was one of the hottest days of the year, we had fun eating jelly, sweets and cupcakes, watching the kids having fun and catchin' up.

Fue el cumple de Fiorella y nos reunimos para celebrar. El color rosado estaba en todos lados y aun cuando fue uno de los días mas calientes del anio, nos divertimos comiendo gelatina, dulces y ponquecitos, viendo a los ninos divertirse y poniéndonos al día.
