kniffitti - making a statement with yarn

Some people call it knitted street art, Kniffitti, Graknitti or Graffiknit. Whatever, I think its just cute. I spotted this bit of gratuitous vandalism in Leuven recently / Algunos lo llaman arte tejido de calle, kniffitti (por tejido y graffitti), Graknitti o Graffiknit, Lo que sea, pero es lindo. Vi esta muestra de vandalismo hermoso aca en Leuven recientemente.

Do the youth of Belgium have nothing better to do with their time! What happened to kicking bins? Setting fire to letterboxes? Putting out cigarettes in precious pot plants? Common theft? well, thats almost unexistant here although students always steal street signs and puke on the streets after a very good party. anyways, i support kniffitti, I think it makes the world a beautiful place.../ Sera que la juventud de Belgica no tiene nada mejor que hacer con su tiempo? que paso con patear la basura? Prender fuego al correo? Apagar cigarrillos en los materos? Hampa comun? bueno, aca eso casi no existe aunque por ser una ciudad universitaria, los estudiantes siempre se andan robando las senales de transito y vomitan en las calles despues de una buena fiesta. De todas maneras, apoyo totalmente al kniffitti, creo que hace del mundo un lugar mas lindo...

i tried to follow her but damn was she fast! i wanted to know who she was and who were behind the kniffitti / trate de seguirla paero si que es rapida! queria saber quien era y quienes estaban detras del kniffitti a random stranger who wanted to have a pic with me / un extranio que quieria una foto conmigo! and i ended up having a beer with him ans his friends, but only one, I know how to behave... / y termine tomandome una cerveza con el y sus amigos pero una sola, yo me se comportar. mah ride
